The European Championship of Online Poker has gotten underway, sponsored by online poker room Bet365. The events, comprised of ten different poker tournaments held online, will offer $3.5 million in prizes guaranteed. Many of the players of the ECOOP will get in for free, thanks to the Bet365 freeroll series that offered seats as prizes. There will be six No Limit Texas Holdem tournaments as well as Limit Holdem and Omaha games. The buy ins will range from a low of $109 to a high of $1,060 for the main event, which boasts a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
