Online poker room Poker Room is doubling a huge guarantee tournament on May 30th, but it isn't in honor of the World Series of Poker, which begins the same day. The event, which will move from a guarantee of $500,000 to one million dollars, is the 25th $1,000 + $40, and Poker Room is using that as the reason for doubling the prize pool without increasing the buy in. The event, called the Grand, is very popular with the members of the online poker room thanks to the huge guarantee and the deep starting stacks of $10,000 in tournament chips.
