Club Gets Poker License

A New Brunswick club has picked up one of the first special licenses that will allow it to hold poker tournaments - as long as they are for charity. The Fredericton area service group isn't wasting any time. May 31st will see the first event by the United Commercial Travelers of Fredericton, to be held at the Capital Exhibit Centre. The money from the event will be going to a number of charities, including the Canadian Paraplegic Association and the Cancer Society Relay for Life.
