A Deer Lake college student won't have to worry about paying for college, and he has poker to thank for it. Nineteen year old Scott Janes took on all comers at the North American College Poker Championship, going on to win the online poker event that put tuition money in his bank account. In addition to paying for next year at Memorial University where he studies for his bachelor of science degree in physics, Janes has also picked up a free seat and trip to play in the next European Poker Tour. Janes beat nearly sixty people in order to win his game.
