Aristocrat Leisure makes poker machines which are used by players seeking their fortune, and a fortune is exactly what Aristocrat is paying out to shareholders who leveled a class action lawsuit against the company. The payout is confidential but rumors are circulating that put the figure somewhere between a low of $150 million and a high of $170 million. The lawsuit was launched six years ago on the basis that the company was not disclosing enough information. This payout, even at the low end, will be the largest such payout ever made to investors in Australia.
