World Poker Tour Season Six Starts

This week marks the kick off of the sixth season of the super popular World Poker Tour with the Mirage Poker Showdown. The event, which began on May 8 in Las Vegas, will run through ten tournaments to May 23. Seven of the ten events will be No Limit Texas Holdem, the popular poker game that has become such a favorite among tourney presenters. The Mirage Poker Showdown's main event will be a $10,000 buy in championship tournament that kicks off on May 23. Last year's main event drew 384 players and paid the winner Stanley Weiss over $1.3 million.
