Poker Organizer Dodges Death

Harry Bowman was assaulted on May 3rd, the day before opening Day Four of an international poker tournament in Lviv. Bowman opened the door to an unknown person who had brought him a package of champagne and sweets, and had Bowman sign a receipt. The delivery man then shoved Bowman to the floor and produce a pistol. Fortunately, Bowman had a guest in his apartment who routed the attacker, but not before shots were fired. The three bullets missed anything vital and were removed by surgeons at the city emergency hospital. The gunman escaped.
