In a ten day poker tournament marathon, poker players will battle it out at the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, with the magnificent falls providing a backdrop and something to do for those whose luck does not hold up at the table. Some 3,000 players from across Canada are battling it out in the second annual Degree Poker Championship.
Can't make it to the Falls to check out the action? You will be able to see it from the comfort of your own home, as TSN is filming and will broadcast seven one hour shows in September, highlighting the action and especially the final table, which will be played on May 12, where the winner will nail $100,000 in prize money and a shot at $1 million in a one-hand showdown with a casino dealer.
