Yesterday the Latin American Poker Tour kicked off in Brazil, with professional poker players and amateurs alike taking their seats. Players can expect to see a few poker stars in the field, such as Chad Brown, Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, and of course Costa Rican poker pro Humberto Brenes. Rio de Janeiro is the first stop of the very first Latin American Poker Tour, followed by a stop in San Jose and then Punta del Este. The events will be fairly small, capped at 300 players, with a $2,500 buy in. The next two events will be in May and August.
