The largest poker tournament in Japan will kick off this Sunday, April 27th and will run through the middle of May. Last year was the inaugural event which drew hundreds of Japanese poker players to prove who was the best and compete for cash prizes. Casinos are not allowed to operate in Japan, and due to this special circumstance the players will not pay any money to participate. The event, which runs through May 18th, will provide the winner with an original bracelet as well as a seat into the main event of the World Series of Poker, which is worth $10,000.
