Big Win for Kids Thanks to Poker Event

Poker remains a popular way to raise money for charity, and the Make a Child Smile Organization found out in a big way just how popular. The recent event hosted to benefit Make a Child Smile brought in more than 50 players and raised more than $5,000. Held at a Knights of Columbus Hall the event raised enough money to provide essentials - and toys - for more than one hundred children. The winner, George Flowers, attributed his victory to luck.
