California Bill to Study Online Poker

It seems that online poker is just a really big idea, the one that is impossible to ignore, and the US state of California unanimously passed a bill to study it recently. The Governmental Organization Committee forwarded the bill to the Assembly Appropriations Committee for approval under the tile of "The Gambling Control / California Intrastate Online Poker Act". The purpose of the study is to determine whether or not to authorize online poker for CA residents. The UIGEA specifically says that states have the right to legalize intrastate online gambling, and California is one of the first to start a study on this matter.
