Poker Room Bust Leads to Indictments

Last November a gambling ring was broken up when discovered operating out of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa poker room, and now the indictments have started to come. Two dozen of the group have been indicted with charges related to gambling; the ring supposedly processed more than sixty million dollars in sports betting. It appears that the Borgata was in no way connected with the ring or its operations, and in fact supposedly assisted with the sting operation to break up the ring. Andrew Micali and Jack M. Buscemi, tagged as the ring leaders, were among those indicted.
