The owner of the World Series of Poker is about to undergo a name change. Harrah's Entertainment will become the Caesars Entertainment Corporation, according to recent reports. While individual properties with the Harrah's name are not likely to change, the company that owns them all will rebrand. This is apparently following the original plan when Harrah's bought Caesars in 2005. There is no talk yet about how the name change may affect the World Series of Poker attendance or the ancillary WSOP Circuit events, which always take place at Harrah's properties around the United States.
