In the quest to bump ratings and attendance at this and all future World Series of Poker events, the WSOP may delay the final table play of the main event for a few months, in order to broadcast the action live. In the last two years live broadcasting was available, but as a pay per view event. The discussion now is to hold the final table in October, delay the broadcast by a few hours to allow for graphics to be added, and air it for free. The action in the summer event would freeze once the play got down to nine players, and the game would resume in the fall.
