Online poker players want to make sure that their personal information, not to mention cash, is safe when they sign up with and play on an online casino. In order to provide a level of standardized quality, poker sites seek the approval of the independent standards authority known as eCOGRA. Recently eCOGRA approved seven poker sites after they passed the appropriate tests. Six of the sites are part of the Prima poker network. The "play it safe" seal of approval covers game fairness and efficiency of the site's operations. That makes a total of 76 online casinos and poker rooms all bearing the seal of approval from eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance. With the question of fair practice coming up fairly often in regards to online poker rooms, this kind of recognition goes a long way towards making players feel safe.
