WSOP Chip Stacks Growing

During this year's World Series of Poker the Main Event players will start off with stacks of chips twice as deep as last year, and will have longer to play with them, thanks to a number of changes revealed in a recent teleconference call held by WSOP executives. Now those players paying $10,000 to play in the 2007 WSOP Main Event will start off with $20,000 in chips. Blind levels have lengthened as well, going from 90 minutes to two hours. Most poker players prefer deeper stacks and longer levels as it means skill plays a bigger factor than luck.
