New Poker Room at the Venetian

The glamorous Venetian casino and resort joins the crowd of Las Vegas Strip resorts adding or renovating poker rooms to their casino offerings. Anyone familiar with the elaborate fantasy world found within the Venetian won't be surprised at the prize tag of the new room, ringing in at $2.6 million for the 11,000 square foot space. This is not the first poker room at the Venetian, which sported a small one back in 1999 when they first opened their doors, followed by a ten table room a few years later, but with the surge in poker popularity growing still, it is likely this one is here to stay.200 slot machines have been removed to open up the corner of the casino that will house the poker room. 32 poker tables will be installed, as well as seven more in a high limit area.
