Poker Politician Drops Out

The state of Washington was the first in the United States to make playing online poker a felony, a law that Attorney Lee Rousso thought was ridiculous. In order to take action against the law, which put online poker players in the same class as sex offenders, Rousso decided to run for governor. He knew he had a small chance of gaining the nomination and a recent change in election law made it impossible for Rousso to continue. According to Rousso he went from being a "100 to one" long shot before the law change to being a "one million to one" long shot after the law change.
