There has been talk recently that the Canadian Government is going to level some UIGEA style legislation that could stop online poker play in the country, but some poker outfits are saying they are not concerned. GigaMedia develops software for the poker industry and licenses it to third party poker rooms. Analysts suggest the reason GigaMedia made the statement is for their investors to see security.
