College Kids Use Poker to Pay for Tuition

College is a time of life when many kids learn about juggling a work/life balance with academics in order to pay for their tuition, which at some universities can easily range into the mid to upper five figure ranges. Some college students are turning to online poker in order to help pay the bills, and some experts see this as a growing trend. While loans are common when it comes to acquiring college money, these experts, like Rep. Tim Mahoney, D-Palm Beach Gardens, say that loans won't be so easy to get in coming years, and alternatives like online poker and working extra jobs will become a necessity.
