The WPA was officially launched at this week, with a number of professional poker players joining ranks and representing the organization. The WPA's goals are to unite the poker community, to provide a way to measure and standardize the rules to poker tournaments (both live and online poker tournaments) and to serve as a benevolent source of fueling the future of poker. The Hendon Mob's Joe Beevers has joined the fold, as has the "Robin Hood of Poker," Barry Greenstien, Kenna James and more.
