Theft was the charge leveled against 40 year old Maria Christina Castro in connection with the case of a poker store robbery in the amount of $560. The event took place on February 13th when East Poker in Dandan was robbed of the amount. This event is the latest in a string of robberies where all night or late night poker parlors are the targets. These businesses, which sport mostly video poker and the like, have been the target of criminals who approach the cashier cages right after closing time and demand cash. Castro has had the complaint filed against her by the Attorney General's Office, headed by chief prosecutor Jeffrey Warfield.
