In the current changed atmosphere of poker legality, some poker games are getting busted and some aren't, depending on local legislation and what may seem like a toss of the dice. One such game that did get busted last spring picked up again recently, and the former police chief was on hand to witness...and to play. On Tuesday night the gambling club was in full swing as around two dozen players showed up to play in a barn. The Elephant Rock Texas Hold'em Tournament Club even used the same chips and cash that was confiscated about a year ago, taking them right out of Colorado Springs Police evidence bags and getting back to business. The players got back to card playing and had a few laughs thinking back on the raid that pulled 52 officers into action against the card game.
