Gordon Done With Celebrity Poker Showdown

Recent developments over at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas have resulted in a question that begs to be answered; who over at Celebrity Poker Showdown is going to do the chip counts now? After 42 episodes of the hit Bravo show Celebrity Poker Showdown, professional poker player and all around poker expert Phil Gordon will no longer be doing the chip counts, calling out odds, or making fun of the celebrity players as they botch the game of Texas Hold'em for the entertainment of the viewing audience.

Gordon, through a statement released from his PR firm, announced that, while it was a great ride, he is looking for "a bigger and faster roller coaster" now that his contractual obligations with the show have come to an end. That sounds about right coming from the man who, once he hit payday during the dot com boom, donned a backpack and traveled to over 50 countries by himself.
