WSOP Makes Deal with Online Poker Room

Everest Poker has struck hands with the World Series of Poker in a major agreement that has the online poker room securing rights to have their logo emblazed on the poker baize. The agreement, between Everest and WSOP owner Harrah's Entertainment Inc, also includes exclusive satellite rights. This will give Everest Poker players the chance to win seats to the WSOP. Last year the WSOP paid out nearly $160 million in prizes over the seven week run in Las Vegas. This year the WSOP starts on May 30.
