In a single year, online poker room Paddy Power has signed up nearly ten thousand new customers, adding a large push to the bookmaker’s bottom line. Paddy Power has been all about fixed odds up till now, with a shift away from that focus and on to online poker. Paddy Power’s gross gaming book went up to €17 million, nearly tripling from €6 million in 2004. The total win for the sports book stands at €26 million.
Paddy Power has fixed odds betting terminals in 45 British betting locations; the 172 betting spots brought the company €4.3 million. All in all a good year for Paddy Power, with more good things to come with Paddy Poker.
