Online Poker Room Awards WSOP Seat

The 2008 World Series of Poker is still months away, but the seats to the main event are already being won by online poker players. That was the case when a player known as JudasBlue picked up a prize package, beating out 100 other players to secure his seat in Vegas this summer. The player, from northern California, won't have as far to travel as some but all his travel costs should be covered by the $12,500 WSOP prize package, which also covers the $10k buy in to the main event. JudasBlue will join other online qualifiers, local players, amateurs, pros and celebrities all vying for the biggest prize in the world of poker. The 2008 WSOP begins on May 30.
