Poker players arrested in a sting operation last May in Canada have been complaining that the persecution against them is a waste of time, and it appears that a Manitoba judge is inclined to agree. Provincial court Judge Rocky Pollock, when ruling on two of the 57 poker players' cases, discharged all criminal charges against Neil Faderson and Rellen Orcullo, and urged the crowd at large to contact the MP if they, too, think the laws regarding the legality of poker in Canada should be changed. Other players have gotten off after taking classes through the Salvation Army offering positive lifestyle options.
