In the most World Poker Tour events a similar format is followed. Players buy in and play at events over a period of time, sometimes as long as a month, leading up to a final event. Such was the case for the WPT L.A. Poker Classic, taking place at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. The end is in sight, however, as a huge field signed up to play in the $10k final event, which will see one of them as a millionaire by the end. The event will be televised for later broadcast on the WPT's new home on TV, the GSN Network.
