In Wyoming bad weather isn’t a surprise in the winter, but the question of whether or not the big snow storm Saturday would stop the charity poker run that was scheduled did come up. The short answer is; no. The second annual Meshoppen Fire Co. ATV Poker Run had more runners than last year, at 215 up from 135. Each player started with a poker card and then selected three more at stops along the 20 mile course. A final card was collected at the finish line, and the best five card hand won top prize, which was $400. In an interesting twist it didn’t take the best hand to be a winner; the worst poker hand at the end of the day also won, taking home $100.
