The PokerPro tables that are run by a computer AI have been making a splash in a number of casinos around the world, but this February 12th the first real test of the system had the curious keeping a close eye out. At the Casino de Montréal the first ever fully automated multi-table poker tournament was held. The event, which hosted 240 players, was run with a staff of four. The winner, engineering student Mohamed Nadim won $20,000 CAD, with half that amount going to second place finisher Pierre Rinfret, a Quebec Sports television and radio host.
