UK Poker For New Year Big Industry

In 2005 there was a lot of movement in the poker industry, with new poker sites being created and launched, poker affiliates coming out of the woodwork, “old” poker companies of a few years going public and battling out in court over issues; that’s not counting the actual games of poker being played and the money made from poker TV and advertising. This year promises much of the same and is a pivotal year for poker in the UK, with the 2005 poker and gambling legislation going into effect in 2007, allowing online poker companies to be based in the UK, the state of poker will be under close scrutiny by the people of the United Kingdom.
