Nearly a year ago a poker bust in Winnipeg lined up a lot of poker players to appear in court and express their guilt or innocence, and the first player to plead guilty has people talking. Neil Faderon, who is 27 years old, pled guilty to being found in a gaming house, and was offered a discharge by Judge Rocky Pollack. Faderon, who sometimes stood in as dealer at the Barca Club, will get no record and no sentence because of the absolute discharge. The player stated he felt that his arrest was a waste of time.
