The Hawaiian Poker Open will not actually be taking place in the Aloha State, but rather in Sin City. Las Vegas will host the HPO from February 26 to 28 at the legendary Binion's Gambling Hall, the place where the equally legendary World Series of Poker got its start. Any poker pros and poker fans living on the islands will have to travel to Nevada to play, paying their own way for transportation, food and lodging, as well as the $1,000 buy-in plus $100 entry fee. Then they will get a chance to represent the island state in the No Limit Texas Hold 'em tournament. There could be some stiff competition coming from the land of white beaches and wonderful surf; Hawaii has its own state poker league.
