According to a new report furnished by the Education Department's Youth Gambling Research Project, the number of students playing online poker is on the rise. The number of players who gamble every week between the ages of 12 to 17 has gone down, but the overall average of students playing card games for money has gone up. This does include live poker games, likely being played at home or elsewhere, as opposed to online play, where there are safety measures in place to reduce the odds of underage gambling.
