The entertainment media has been abuzz for months now on the new James Bond film with the working title of Casino Royale, as well as the new bond himself, Daniel Craig. With a title like Casino Royale gambling and poker enthusiasts are hopeful there will be lots of casino action, perhaps with the new Bond in a few high stakes games of Texas Hold'em to stick with the current trend of favorite poker games.
Hip, stylish movies with plenty of action have benefited from good poker scenes in the past, such as the recent Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and who could forget the ultra cool, funny scene in Ocean’s Eleven. Is poker going to make an appearance at the Casino Royale? It is unknown as of yet, but hopefully the script writers are keeping their finger on the pulse of the gaming community.
