The chip leaders of multi day poker events are always people worth watching, event though such an enviable position does not always merit a win. In the case of the World Series of Poker Circuit event taking place at the Horseshoe Casino Council Bluffs, the man of the hour was Jeff Banghard of Bennington, Nebraska. Banghard held the lead of 42 players with 86,800 in chips at the end of the day, out of a field of 142 players. The players all paid to play, creating a prize pool of $677,700 that will pay 18 places.
