In Stoughton is was bad news for the owners of two electronic poker machines that were seized Friday at American Legion Post, as police said that the machines were being used for illegal gambling. A two month long investigation into alleged illegal gambling kicked off after an anonymous source tipped off the officials, according to Detective Sgt. Daniel McGowan. When executed a search warrant shortly before 10 p.m. they not only found that patrons were getting money for playing the machines, but also discovered and confiscated a small amount of cocaine on the premises.
