If you were watching ESPN during the last World Series of Poker, you might have seen a sunglasses-wearing, white-haired, bearded man that looked familiar, and realized that Celine Dion's husband Rene Angelil was taking part. The manager of the superstar is known for playing poker and otherwise enjoying casino gambling, but when the Observer reported a Harrah's official claimed he gambled a million dollars a week, they got the figures wrong. Harrah's, with Angelil's permission, revealed that Angelil's losses for the past two years were only $230,300 - and indeed were offset by winnings in excess of that number.
