World Poker Tour players always have to avoid going on tilt, where they let emotion interfere with smart poker play. Now pinball enthusiasts will have to avoid tilt, too, with the new World Poker Tour pinball machines that will be appearing in arcades. Pinball players have to avoid tilt in order to keep the game from shutting off, which if they are poker fans they certainly would want to avoid.Stern Pinball has made a deal with the World Poker Tour to brand some of their machines with Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patton and Courtney Friel providing their images and voiceovers, and successful play involves getting flop, turn and river cards through expert ball manipulation. Steve Richie designed the new machine and created new and exciting ways to play pinball.
