The World Series of Poker branded Texas Holdem games are somewhat online poker, somewhat live poker, and somewhat dealer-less poker tables. The new devices, an offering from Progressive Gaming International Corp., put online poker room style gaming in pubs and restaurants to heighten the poker experience. The games, dubbed as World Series of Poker "Peer to Peer" Texas Holdem, allow players to log on and play on a poker room that is more intra-net than internet. They play at their own console but with other live players elsewhere in the establishments. They may appear in casinos as well and are expected to debut in about three months time.
