The Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada was the setting for a fictitious poker tournament called The Grand which was the focal point of a poker movie of the same name. In the film six comedians play poker players at the final table of a major event, something which could come true now that the Golden Nugget has launched a poker tournament with a similar name. Perhaps inspired by the "mockumentary" the casino will host the event with poker stars rather than Hollywood stars. The film is set to hit theaters in March.
