French Follow USA in Online Poker Attitude

French club Le Salon des Ambassadeurs has a tournament coming in the near future, and online poker room Poker Stars is not welcome, according to recent reports. The images of the Poker Stars logo have been banned from the tournament. Online poker in general seems to be taking the hit from French authorities, and online poker advertising in specific, starting with a September 2006 action against the executives of sports betting site BWIN when they were arrested in the South of France. This recent activity seems to be connected to the canceling of the EPT event in Deauville.
