Israel Poker Association's Pokerface 2006

In February locals in the Holy Land will get a chance to experience the thrill of going all in and bluffing out their opponents, an they won't have to shell out thousands of dollars for a plane ticket and room accommodations in Las Vegas. The Israel Poker Association's Pokerface 2006 tournament event will kick off on February 7 at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds and will last thirteen weeks.



Roughly 320 players will fork over 500 NIS apiece in order to play in the sit-n-go events and the multi table events. Texas Hold'em, the No-limit kind, will feature in the tournaments, and in April there will be a three day championship event with the top 90 players. Winners will take from a $50,000 prize pool, which includes a seat in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
