Washington Pundit Hoping to Overturn Poker Law

The state of Washington is the only place in the USA where playing online poker could land you in the same class as someone who tortures a cat. The law passed in 2006 makes playing online poker a Class C felony, something that Lee Rousso finds excessively punitive. Rousso is going to run for the August primary against current Governor Christine Gregoire in hopes that he could win on poker fan votes. He voted for the current Governor but is upset about her hard line against online poker.
