The 2008 Aussie Millions event brought a lot of attention to Melbourne recently, but not all of it was positive. One player, who did well for himself in the main event, had a turn of rotten luck when he went out for an early morning bite to eat. Twenty two year old American player Jason Potter won $30,000 and took it in cash. When he left his hotel room shortly before 5 am to get some food he was struck from behind and the money was taken from him. It is believed he was watched and stalked from the casino.
