When the president of the Poker Players Alliance met with state legislators in Florida, the end result was a positive one for the future of online poker. Michael Bolcerek was there to present his organization's position on online poker in a meeting that focused on many aspects of wagering, including tribal gaming issues, charitable gaming, and the exemption that horseracing is enjoying under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Aspects of the regulation of Internet poker in the US were presented, including discussions on federal licensing, and the overall direction of the meeting was deemed positive.
