An online virtual poker room is to be set up on Win2Day, the online gambling platform for Casinos Austria. While the new site will be coming online to give the Austrians a chance to gamble online a little closer to home, there will be some limits imposed to help those gamblers who have trouble helping themselves. Each week a player may wager only 800 Euros. The EU member nation will be looking to control the revenues that come into and out of the country from online poker, and a state run poker site would be one way to do that.
