According to a recent survey of British use of online applications, Brits are considered to be addicted to online poker. Nielsen/NetRatings, the company that monitors British online activity, says that Britons who have Internet access spend as much as ten hours a month playing online poker. That number may not sound like a lot, but when compared to the average of three and a half hours using any Internet application, the report is suggesting that Brits are addicted to poker. A spokesperson from the company said that poker has "most effectively harnessed" the broadband nature of the Internet.
